WE
HAVE INCREASED THE AMOUNT OF SALVINORIN-A IN OUR
SALVIA EXTRACTS 25% MORE THAN THE INDUSTRY STANDARD.
The price is still the same!
It appears that the industry standard for salvia
extractions has changed.
Salvia extractions have a suggested and averaged standard amount of
salvinorin A per gram of leaf so that an extractor knows how much to
put on the leaf so that the leaf will be 5X
(5 times) or 10X (10 times) stronger than a gram of plain leaf.
2.4 milligrams is that standard. It was determined because the average
salvinorin A in a gram of leaf is 2.4 milligrams. The average has increased
some but not that much. Maybe 2.8 is the new average based on extracting
from many sources and comparing.
With the old standard;
5X would contain approximately 12 milligram of salvinorin A per gram,
which would make it 5 times stronger than 1 gram of leaf which contains
2.4 milligrams.
This standard also helps a customer determine just what to buy. Without
it you will not know what you are getting.
Here
is the problem, A few sites have started selling 10X as 5X rather than
dropping the price of the 10X to the price of 5X.
This fools you into thinking there extracts are stronger. This is obviously
not possible. 5X is 5X unless it is 10X.
From site to site or extraction to extraction you are no longer able
to just determine what strength you want anymore. If 5X has as much
Salvinorin A as 10X then you may have a surprise. So be careful.
I can see that more is better in the eyes of the consumer. However,
in the case of salvinorin A I feel that safety is also an issue.
You should know what you are getting.
I
would love to hear any and all feedback.
